This excellent Burgundian Chardonnay is born in the vineyards between Buxy and Saint Gengoux le National where the soil is ideally suited to the Chardonnay grape variety which are calcium rich. They tend to come from the higher parts of the hillsides that have an east/south east aspect.
Tasting Notes: A real favourite, featuring fresh apple and citrus notes, the Chardonnay Côte Chalonnaise Cave de Vignerons de Buxy 2022 is crisp and elegant.
Food pairing suggestions: Its well-balanced acidity and smooth texture make it an excellent match for seafood and light pasta dishes.
