Description
This excellent Burgundian Chardonnay is born in the vineyards between Buxy and Saint Gengoux le National where the soil is ideally suited to the Chardonnay grape variety which are calcium rich. They tend to come from the higher parts of the hillsides that have an east/south east aspect.
The nose opens with fresh citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit before leading on to some softer and white fruit notes such as ripe peach floral touches such as honeysuckle.
In the mouth it is soft, fresh and generous and really shows the typicity of Cardonnay from this part of the world.
