Description
Sicily, Italy
The famous native Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes grown on high- elevation volcanic slopes of Mount Etna produce a rich andcomplex wine with a great minerality and appealing aromas.
Tasting Notes: Delicately perfumed and ethereal with complex aromas of wild raspberry, leather and dried petals. On the palate restrained red berry fruit, notes of dried herbs and liquorice and refined tannins, lead to a long balsamic finish.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Rich pasta dishes, roasted game, grilled meats and semi-aged cheeses
