Description
From a winery overlooking the breath-taking expanse of Table Bay and out towards Table Mountain, this wine mirrors the regions vitality and charm.
Grapes are harvested from Paarl and Western Cape regions; picked early in the morning and by hand.
The soils are granite and sandstone, and the vines have standard canopy management with limited irrigation to ensure good fruit concentration and ripeness
In the winery the grapes are de-stemmed and given three hours of skin contact. The juice is cleared using flotation before fermentation – great care is taken that only clear juice is used. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at a cold temperature and a selected yeast is added to achieve the fruity style.
A fresh, pale straw, fruit driven wine layered with flavours of guava, pear, kiwifruit and citrus. The palate is rich with a crisp, zesty finish.
Enjoy as an aperitif or paired with light foods such as creamy goat’s cheese, summer salads, sushi, pasta or pizzas.
