Description
A small town between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria, Alice Bel Colle is set like a precious gem in the spectacular hills of Monferrato; in this enchanting scenery lie most of the vineyards of Tenimenti Ca ‘Bianca, part of the Italian Wine Group.
The winery is well organized and produces about 700,000 bottles a year, all narrators of the great Piedmontese wine tradition.
Only local grapes that are expressed on typical labels capable of perfectly describing the characteristics of the vine and the territory, such as this Barolo DOCG, a classic of the classics, which never goes out of fashion but is never taken for granted!
Intense garnet red with almost blue reflections, it has an incredibly expressive nose all played on spicy tones with liquorice stick and coffee, blackberry jam and black pepper. The taste reveals the best part of this wine, with body, balance, tannic texture present but nuanced and a very long persistence perfectly aligned with the sense of smell.
Great for braised classic, it is perfect with venison fillet, wild boar stew or very mature hard cheeses.
