Description
One of the most important white grape varieties in southern Italy, Bombino Bianco is often blended but here, as a 100% Cépage, its qualities are showcased in full.
The ultra-ripeness of the harvested fruit, evident in the wine’s complex, rich fragrances, finds a lovely counterpoint in the crisp acidity typical of the varietal.
The vineyards are located in Andria in the northern part of Castel del Monte D.O.C. area Vines are planted in deep calcareous soils at an altitude of 180-200 metres; trained to the spurred cordon system at 4,800 vines per hectare.
Green tinged straw yellow; lightly fruited bouquet, with notes of green apples; the rich palate balanced with sharp pineapple finishes with a tangy vein of minerality.
An ideal complement to antipasti, seafood appetizers, oysters and pastas as well as to fish and poultry.
