The Garnacha Tintorera vines are planted in goblet and vertically trellised systems in poor, stony limestone soils in vineyards situated in La Font de La Figuera. The interior of the province of Valencia benefits from a dry climate and low rainfall, ideal for the sustainable and ecological winegrowing that been practiced traditionally in the area.
The wine has 9 months in French and American oak.
“Light my fire” was the first song written by Robby Krieger, The Doors’ guitarist. Apparently, Jim Morrison asked his fellow band members for help to write some songs. Krieger asked him what he could write about and Morrison answered something universal. So, Krieger was inspired by the four elements: Earth, Wind, Sea and Fire, although later he would only concentrate on one of them. Fire was influenced by The Rolling Stones “Play with Fire” .
