Description
This is a sweet, velvety desert wine from Refrontolo in Italy’s Veneto.
Made from pure marzemino grapes it has good body with plenty of ripe blackberry and loganberry fruit flavours together with hints of cherries and a dark, chocolate finish.
It works well with berry fruit puddings such as summer pudding or even with chocolate deserts, the darker and fuller the better. It has plenty of sweetnes and good balancing acidity.
Pair with summer pudding or chocolate torte
