Description
An intriguing blend of 41% Chenin, 30% Muscadelle, 15% Colombard & 12% Semillion; sourced from estate grown low yielding vines in Riverland.
The varietals, harking back to an old practice of ‘blending in the field, are harvested together, co-fermented and then left on the lees to create creaminess and texture. Further complexity is added by the influence of French oak.
Combined melon and stone-fruits with citrus blossom and vanilla. A medium bodied palate, wherin the taste is fresh, ripe and lingering; the finish is dry, smooth and silky.
