Silver Reign is an English sparking wine based on Champagne grape varietals but made by the Charmat method. Silverhand Estate is now the largest producers in the UK specialising in “charmat not Champers”.
The Charmat method, also known as ‘Cuve Close’ or ‘Tank Method’, is widely associated with the production of Prosecco in Italy and Sekt in Germany but is used for making sparkling wines in many other countries around the world and increasingly in England. The Charmat method dates back to the late 18th century when it was developed by an Italian, Federico Martinotti, although it was Frenchman Eugene Charmat who refined the process and gave it its name.
Silver Reign Organic Certified Rosé is a meticulously crafted sparkling wine exuding, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes with 10.1 g/l residual sugar.
Both refreshing and elegant it is brimming with the essence of wild strawberries and the lusciousness of ripe summer fruits. Each effervescent sip is a journey through a garden of flavour, awakening the senses with every nuanced aroma and taste.
